I just put the Graco pack n play together last night and I'm planning to keep her in the bedroom for some time and use braided cradle to the top of the baby when He was born in a few weeks. He did not looks healthy even though my husband said, it's not everywhere, but I'm scared that's going to cave, when I put the baby Someone else in. I feel this way? Does anyone use the bassinet part?

I have a Graco pack and play and I thought same thing. We never had any problems. We used it as The NDP and such when my DD was younger. Think, that the weight limit is only 15 pounds so your use will depend on the size the baby. My DD is only 5 pounds when she was born ... we stopped letting her sleep in the bassinet part, when it began to move around more ... that it will take almost 7 months to hit the weight limit!
